Itinerary
What this is used for
Core itinerary / tour entry; links to content/cruise/details/seasonB, parts and assets.
How you use it
These entries are mostly filled in automatically from our product systems. You edit only the fields the team controls — usually the wording and the choice of picture. Fields that are greyed out are kept in step with the source system, so changing them here would be undone.

Travel areas travelAreas | Several linked entries | Travel areas this trip visits, synced from ePIM. The page URL is built from the deepest one. Replaces the older plain-text travel area list. Links to: |
Slug slug | Short text | URL segment for this trip's page, generated from its name on first import and yours to edit afterwards. Import will not overwrite your edit. Changing a live slug needs a redirect, so it goes through the editorial workflow. |
Sections sections | Several linked entries | The CMS-authored bands this record shows, in the order they render. This record IS its own page — it does not need a Page entry. Everything already synced from ePIM (rooms, tips, facilities, descriptions, excursions) renders automatically and is NOT listed here; add only the bands an editor owns, such as offer rails, CTAs, the trust bar and FAQs. Leave empty to use the site default order. A section with no content from either the CMS or ePIM hides itself rather than rendering blank. |
Primary travel area primaryTravelArea | One linked entry | The ONE travel area that owns this record in the hierarchy — the parent used for the breadcrumb and the URL. Different from 'Travel areas', which lists every area the record relates to and has no single owner. Set the most specific area that applies (a city rather than its country); the hierarchy rolls up from there on its own. Links to: |
Heading heading | Long text | The trip's main bold heading. ePIM ItineraryHeading. Was on the Itinerary Content record. |

Duration (nights) durationNights | Whole number | Number of nights. ePIM ItineraryDurationNights. Was on the Itinerary Details record. |

Trip category tripCategory | Short text | Kuoni's own commercial grading for the trip: Wow, Proud or Choice. ePIM ItineraryCategory_UK. Choose one of: Wow Proud Choice |
Tag curation tagCuration | Structured data | Managed by the Tag Curator in the sidebar — you do not type in here. It collects the tags from the hotels and trips on this page, shows each one once, and saves the finished list for the website to read. Open the sidebar to reorder them, add one, or hide one. |
Fields kept in step automatically
These appear greyed out, or not at all. They are filled in from another system, so anything typed here would be overwritten.
