Content Sync Alert
What this is used for
Two things share this type. kind=contentSync is the internal list of PIM-synced entries flagged for review (deleted or expired in PIM) — flagged content stays live until an editor resolves the alert and is never removed automatically. kind=emergencyBanner is the customer-facing notice that renders above the site navigation.
How you use it

|---|---|---|
Internal Name internalNamerequired | Short text | — |
Kind kind | Short text | Leave as "contentSync" for a PIM review alert. Choose "emergencyBanner" ONLY for a notice you want shoppers to see at the top of the site — it is public the moment the entry is published and its Status is not "Resolved". Choose one of: contentSync emergencyBanner |
Banner message message | Long text | Emergency banners only. THE BANNER DOES NOT RENDER WITHOUT THIS — it is the whole notice, so write it as one or two plain sentences a shopper can act on ("Flights to Sharm el-Sheikh are disrupted. If you are travelling in the next 72 hours, please call us."). Max 400 characters. |
Severity severity | Short text | How loud the banner is. "info" is the pale notification bar, "warning" and "critical" get progressively stronger brand colours. Reserve "critical" for something that affects travel today — using it for everything makes it mean nothing. Choose one of: info warning critical |
Shopper can dismiss it isDismissible | Yes / no | A dismissed banner stays hidden for the rest of that browser tab's session and comes back on the next visit. Turn this OFF only for a notice nobody should be able to hide (a live safety incident); an undismissable bar on every page is a real accessibility and conversion cost. |
Link label ctaLabel | Short text | Optional link text, e.g. "Read our travel advice". A label with no URL is ignored rather than rendered as a dead link. |
Link URL ctaHref | Short text | Where the link goes. Absolute URL, root-relative path (/travel-advice) or #anchor. Needs a Link label to render. |
Contact Phone contactPhone | One linked entry | Optional "call us" number shown in the banner. Pick the same Global_Element_TextValue_001 entry (kind "phone") the header and footer use — the site renders every number through one component so Infinity call tracking applies to it. Links to: |
Affected Entry affectedEntry | One linked entry | Content-sync alerts only: the PIM-synced entry this alert is about. Leave empty on an emergency banner. |
Reason reason | Short text | Content-sync alerts only — why the entry was flagged in PIM. Leave empty on an emergency banner; it is not shown to shoppers. Choose one of: Deleted in PIM Expired in PIM Expiry date reached Reinstated in PIM Unpublished in PIM |
Detected At detectedAt | Date | When this was raised. On an emergency banner it renders as the "Last updated" line, so shoppers can see the notice is current — update it whenever you change the message. |
Impacted Pages impactedPages | Several linked entries | PER-PAGE TARGETING. Leave EMPTY and an emergency banner shows on EVERY page. Add page entries and it shows on those pages only. (On a content-sync alert this is the list of pages the flagged entry appears on.) |
Status status | Short text | THE ON/OFF SWITCH for an emergency banner. "Pending" or "Reviewed" (or empty) means it is LIVE. Set it to "Resolved" to take the banner down without unpublishing the entry, so the wording is kept for next time. Choose one of: Pending Reviewed Resolved |

These appear greyed out, or not at all. They are filled in from another system, so anything typed here would be overwritten.
